How Long Does My Hair Have To Be To Get Waves?
It Depends on individual hair growth and brushing schedule. If you just started and never had 360 waves brush your hair 100 times on each side three times a day.

With this method, you’ll notice results fast, and within a day or so you will notice a big difference in your wave pattern development. Do this for seven days, by the 7th day your waves should have developed a nice definition at this point.
This method can be applied on your waves lower than an inch also hair length no greater than 4 inches. If your hair is longer and you find it difficult to get waves cut your hair down to the new growth, this is about an inch, give or take, trim.
If you’re not a barber asks your barber when going to a shop for a low cut. Let them know your starting waves, “I’m pretty sure they would also have some great pointers on starting your waves from this point”.
After a good trim up, get yourself a good wave conditioner and or pomade or both if you could. For thick curly hair try using a pomade that has beeswax thinner stringy hair try wave moisturizer or leave-in conditioner.
